About Us

Joseph B. Mazza, LCSW, ACSW graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii. His sixteen years of child and family counseling has included family therapy, family sexual abuse treatment, intensive in-home services, and child welfare supervision. Mr. Mazza has eight years of specializing in forensic child custody evaluations, and has performed hundreds of family studies relating to custody, parenting time, and placement of children, and has provided testimony as an expert witness in child custody cases. Post-graduate work for Mr. Mazza has included more than 500 hours of training in such areas as child development, child abuse and neglect, risk assessment, permanent parenting plans, parents' and children's adjustment to divorce, step- and blended families, domestic violence, parenting styles, children's temperament, and high-conflict post-divorce families. Mr. Mazza has held the position of District Chairperson for the National Association of Social Workers.
